Future Flight and the C.W. Craig Award were founded by Wallace Craig and are sponsored through the Midland and Lee High School Math and Science Booster Club. The program is endorsed by the Midland Independent School District, Director of Science Mrs. Jan Artley. Direct supervision in the schools is provided by Mr. Chuck Bell at Midland High School and Mr. Andrew Franks at Lee High School. N.A.S.A endorses Future Flight and provides direct support through Ms. Tracy Young, Education Liaison Office and Ms. Ember Smith, Deputy Director of Kennedy Space Center.
