 With Vic Elford
Vic had been a very succesful racing driver for the Porsche factory team, when Jim Hall hired him to test and drive the controversial Chaparral 2J.....the "sucker car". Vic had some very amusing stories about his driving experiences in that car. Driving the 2J during it's one and only season, Vic felt that without mechanical problems he could have won every race. The car was banned the following year.
 With Dan Gurney
If there is one true legend in motorsports it would be Dan Gurney. He has done it all as driver, innovator and owner. His name has been associated with Ferrari, Brabham, McClaren and Toyota. During the Chaparral's heyday, he was the chief nemisis and competitor, but through it all he has been a friend of Jim Hall. He had very kind things to say.
